Reading this book has been a temendous help to me. I was recommended Healing the Wounded Spirit at a extremely vunerable time. It is easy reading and gives insight and answers to questions you feel you can not ask. The chapter on forgiveness is vital and I recommend it to anyone who has gone through abuse of any kind and struggles with the issues of forgiving your abuser. Christian readers will have their eyes opened to how deep the wounds are. How normal “christian” words of advice often cause more confussion. What is often needed, a deep understanding and compassion, is found in this book. It sets out very simple steps to follow to start the healing process. I’ve reread and highlighted different parts of my kindle copy regulary and I highly recommend Church leaders read it too.

Tremendous Insight

What I love about this book is that the author has not based his writing upon theoretical knowledge, but upon 20 years of hands-on dedication to the most vulnerable. The book would be great for both survivors and those accompanying the survivors on their journey to becoming conquerors.

Wounded to Conqueror

I’ve read this book twice and it is spot on. The steps are brilliant and key to being healed… this WILL set people free. It’s real, reliable, honest, humbling, thought provoking, authentic and true. I think everyone should read it to get an understanding! It will enable people to open up and talk.

A survivor!

WOW!
